RULES FOR VISITORS

As with all NASCAR events, fans attending the AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway are expected to respect the venue’s rules and follow instructions from event staff. Security teams are present throughout the facility to help maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.

Prohibited items

To ensure safety and comfort, a number of items are not allowed inside the Speedway. Anything considered dangerous, disruptive, or unsuitable for the event is strictly banned. This also includes tickets or merchandise intended for unauthorised resale.

All guests must pass through security screening at the entrances. Failure to comply may result in refusal of entry without a refund.

Before attending, it is strongly recommended to review the official prohibited items list. Below are some of the most common restrictions:

• Aerosol cans (except sunscreen, bug spray, and hand sanitiser)
• Air horns and other loud noisemakers
• Balloons, beach balls, frisbees, and similar items
• Bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, and hoverboards
• Chairs, including folding or collapsible types
• Offensive or inappropriate clothing
• Hard-sided or foam coolers
• Confederate flag displays
• Dry ice
• Drugs or illegal substances
• Firearms and weapons of any kind
• Fireworks or explosives
• Glass or ceramic containers
• Knives exceeding 3 inches (closed) or 6 inches (open)
• Laser pointers
• Monopods and tripods
• Seat cushions with metal components
• Tools, including multi-tools with blades over 3 inches
• Drones or any unmanned aerial devices

Permitted items

For a smoother experience, it’s best to pack light and bring only essentials. Having a small, organised bag will help you get through security faster and enjoy more of the race-day atmosphere.

Basic items to bring include your ticket, phone, portable charger, some cash, and a valid photo ID. It’s also advisable for children to carry identification.

The following items are generally allowed inside Kansas Speedway:

• Bags – Backpacks, diaper bags, and small bags up to 18" x 18" x 14" (maximum two per person)
• “Big Head” signs – As long as they don’t block views
• Binoculars
• Blankets
• Cameras – For personal use only (professional equipment requires accreditation)
• CamelBaks
• Soft-sided coolers up to 14" x 14" x 14" (one per person)
• Food and drinks, including alcohol (no glass containers)
• Scanners
• Seat cushions without metal parts
• Selfie sticks (telescopic only)
• Strollers, when accompanied by a child
• Umbrellas – Allowed, but cannot be opened in the grandstands
