Traveling by car

Most visitors travel to Kansas Speedway by car, as the venue is well equipped to handle high traffic volumes on race weekends. Both free and paid parking options are available, with on-site staff and police helping to manage traffic and direct vehicles efficiently.

Directions

• From I-70: Take Exit 410 (110th Street) and follow Speedway Boulevard, where parking attendants will guide you towards Talladega Drive and the appropriate lots.
• From the east (State Avenue): Continue west on State Avenue directly towards the Speedway.
• From I-435: Merge onto I-70 West and take Exit 410 (110th Street). If traffic builds up near the State Avenue exit, it may be temporarily closed. In that case, continue to Parallel Parkway, turn left onto 110th Street (near Target and JCPenney), and follow the signs back towards State Avenue and the Speedway parking areas.

Important race day tips

• Expect heavy traffic and allow extra travel time, especially closer to the circuit.
• Use all open lanes on State Avenue, as staff will direct vehicles into available parking areas.
• Entry points along State Avenue may close progressively from east to west once lots reach capacity.
• Do not park south of Speedway Boulevard, as crossing traffic lanes can be dangerous and cause delays.
• Avoid parking at Legends Outlets – access across State Avenue is restricted after the race, making official Speedway parking both faster and more convenient.
